TRADITIONALLY HERBES DE PROVENCE IS A 'VARIABLE' BLEND OF DRIED HERBS THAT ARE AVAILABLE AND GROWING NEARBY. THEREFORE DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE OR WHAT FAMILY YOU TALK TO THE INGREDIENTS WILL VARY. ORIGINATING FROM THE REGION OF SOUTH EAST FRANCE, TYPICALLY OILY HERBS ARE USED THAT WILL RELEASE THEIR AROMAS AND FLAVOURS DURING SLOW COOKING. COMMON IN MANY FRENCH AND MEDITTERANEAN DISHES INCLUDING SLOW COOKED TOMATO BASED DISHES, ROASTED VEGETABLES, GRILLED FISH, STEWS AND SOUPS. OUR BLEND HAS THE CLASSIC INGREDIENT OF LAVENDER FLOWERS FOR AN EXTRA FLAVOUR TWIST.
