CHIMICHURRI IS A DELICIOUS LATIN AMERICAN (ARGENTINIAN) HERBY GREEN SAUCE USED TO DRESS CUT STEAKS AND MEATS AFTER SERVING (A BIT LIKE BRITISH LAMB SAUCE).
OUR DRY VERSION IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE WHEN THE FRESH HERBS USUALLY USED ARE NOT TO HAND OR OUT OF SEASON. SOME OF OUR CUSTOMERS EVEN FIND WAYS TO USE THIS BLEND DRY BY ADDING TO THEIR COOKING, BUT TO MAKE THE CLASSIC WET SAUCE, SIMPLY MIX SOME OF THE BLEND WITH OLIVE OIL, WATER, AND RED OR WHITE WINE VINEGAR IN A 2-1-1 RATIO OF THE LIQUIDS AND YOUR CHOSEN AMOUNT OF THE BLEND DEPENDING HOW STUFF OR LOOSE YOU WANT YOUR SAUCE (BARE IN MIND IT THICKENS AS IT REHYDRATES). ONCE MIXED, POP IN THE FRIDGE UNTIL READY TO USE TO ALLOW THE LEAFY HERBS TO RE HYDRATE. THEN DRIZZLE OVER MEAT AS DESIRED. DUE TO THE VINEGAR IT WILL KEEP IN THE FRIDGE PRE MIXED FOR A FEW DAYS.
